Canary Foundation of Canada

Canary Foundation has always sought the best researchers and has taken steps to ensure the most expedient accomplishment of its mission. Naturally then Canary transcended international borders relatively soon after its founding in 2004. Dr. Brad Nelson of the British Columbia Cancer Agency was the first Canadian researcher to receive funding through the Canary Foundation Ovarian Cancer Research Program. His lab at the BC Cancer Agency's Trev and Joyce Deeley Research Centre has become a key component of all four Canary cancer research programs. The Canary science team welcomed more researchers from the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
