Stopping Cancer Early – The Best Possible Investment

As a physician, I have seen first-hand the devastating effects of late-stage cancer on many patients who could have benefitted from early detection.

Last year, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately, he benefitted from early detection and received treatment that helped save his life. Sooner or later, this disease affects each of us; and important causes like the Canary Challenge help to unite us in our fight against cancer.

Attend an Event

Events are the fun part—who doesn’t like great food and company, stimulating conversation, riding through beautiful scenery or hearing about breakthrough innovations—and all for an important cause. But make no mistake, these events have an important function. They are fundraising vehicles, and ways we further educate our supporters on the work we do.

Like these riders, everyone has been touched by cancer.

There are many ways to connect with Canary and learn about us. We invite you to attend any or all of the following events:

Canary Challenge

Held annually in September, the Canary Challenge raises funds for early cancer detection research. It’s a bike ride, not a race, with five routes, easy to more challenging. Whether you are an individual, corporation or group of friends, when you sign up for the Canary Challenge you become a part of an inspiring community—Join here. Create a team in memory of a loved one or a survivor. Come join the fun and support early cancer detection!

Canary Challenge Team Avaya

This will be team Avaya The Power of We™’s 4th year participating in the Canary Challenge

Canary Center at Stanford Visit

Come see us at the Canary Center at Stanford located in Palo Alto, California. We would love to show you around our labs and answer any questions you have about our research. Tours are informal and fun.
